Burger King handed out loads of Team Edward and Team Jacob crowns in the lines at Comic-Con. According to Burger King:

For fans hungry for another bite of the “Twilight” film franchise, Burger King Corp. is revealing a few details of what will be available in participating BURGER KING® restaurants nationwide this November as part of its multi-faceted “New Moon” promotion. A special gift of holiday value, which guests will receive free (while supplies last) with the purchase of a BK BURGER SHOTS® six pack value meal, will be packed full with “New Moon” merchandise offers, retail coupons and collectible cards. Additionally, a series of limited-edition “New Moon”-themed BK® Crown Cards featuring stars from the film are available for purchase at BURGER KING® restaurants and online at www.bkcrowncard.com. Once acquired, these collectible gift cards, which have a $5 minimum limit, can be loaded at BURGER KING® restaurants nationwide. These exclusive items are just a glimpse of what will be offered in BURGER KING® restaurants and are sure to be a hit with “Twilight” fans looking for hot gifts this holiday season. More information will be revealed in early November when the promotion launches in BURGER KING® restaurants nationwide.

“Curiosity among fans has continued since our exclusive ‘New Moon’-themed BK® Crowns hit the Comic-Con scene in San Diego in late July,” said Cindy Syracuse, senior director, cultural marketing, Burger King Corp. “While full promotional details are still to come, we can confirm that beginning Nov. 16, BURGER KING® restaurants will offer guests access to a number of limited-edition, movie-themed offers and merchandise.

Be sure to keep a lookout at your local Hot Topic! New Moon merch hits stores in October. According to The Twilight Examiner:

According to those findings, new New Moon merchandise will be hitting the shelves of Hot Topic in early October, bolstering otherwise “lackluster” August numbers.

This year, unlike with Twilight merchandising, companies like Nordstrom and various others will also be licensed to produce New Moon products.

The Twilight Saga New Moon 2010 Calendar will be released in Borders stores (and online) tomorrow! The list price is $16.99, but if you purchase the calender in-store with this coupon by August 10th, you can get 50% off!

The Lexicon reports, “Brandon, who is working on a Twilight video game for a university project, has an update. Aside from the MySpace, he now has a website. Nordstrom is partnering with Summit to launch an exclusive Twilight clothing line! (Note: I [Kelsey] got to view the clothing items at “The Twilight Experience” event, and they are very cute!)

Nordstrom, Inc. has partnered with Summit Entertainment to launch an exclusive fashion and jewelry collection inspired by the highly-anticipated Nov. 20 release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the second movie adapted from Stephenie Meyer’s novels. The fashion-focused collection will be available at nordstrom.com/newmoon beginning Oct. 1 and in the BP. department at Nordstrom stores beginning Oct. 15.

Created by Awake, Inc., the apparel collection centers around fitted screened T-shirts, tanks and hoodies that reflect the mood and spirit of the film. Twilight fans can choose from designs that show their affinity for vampire Edward Cullen with a “Team Edward” logo or werewolf Jacob Black with a “Team Jacob” logo. Other T-shirts feature film-related lines such as “Bet You Can’t Read My Mind” and imagery such as “Forks High School Phys. Ed. Dept.” and the tattoo design worn by the werewolf pack.

There are 3 of them, one for Bella, Edward, and Jacob and they cost $0.79 each. They’re from the maker of Skybar candies. It looks like they’re pictures from New Moon as well. The package says their names in red on the very top left corner and at the bottom it says “The Twilight Saga New Moon Heart’s Desire Creme filled milk chocolate heart”. The candy itself has Bella’s name on the top, the Cullen crest in the middle, and the Skybar name on the bottom. They’re quite tasty as well!
