There are a few Valentine tie-ins here. Lautner happens to turn 18 on Feb. 11 (well, that’s almost Valentine’s Day). And his newest movie, “Valentine’s Day,” debuts Feb. 12 and features an A-list ensemble cast, including rumored love interest Taylor Swift.

Okay, got it? Good. Now turn to the month of March and draw a big fat circle around March 20th because that’s the day The Twilight Saga: New Moon will hit DVD and Blu-ray. But Erik, you say – isn’t March 20th a Saturday? And don’t DVDs usually get released on a Tuesday? Yes, they usually do – but with a DVD this big, retailers want to host some snazzy midnight release parties, which means they need a time when the kids won’t have to get up for school the next day.

So there it is – March 20th. I imagine you want to know what your purchasing options are, right? The press release does promise more, so there’s still a chance for some tasty deleted scenes, though chances are they’re saving those for another edition. The pre-sale begins on January 26th, just so you early birds are aware.

ETonline.com reports, “It’s an early Christmas treat for die hard ‘Twilight’ fans as ET presents the first official ‘Eclipse’ movie still!

Summit Entertainment has released the first official picture from the hugely popular film franchise. In the third installment, Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) share an in intense moment as they stare deeply into each others eyes while sitting in a field of flowers. ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ is in theaters June 30, 2010.”

Eyes and Face
The book described the wolves as having eerily human eyes. “We were told early on that they literally they wanted us to plop the actors eyes into wolf, which always sounds like a good idea on paper but it does not work visually,” said Fredenburg, “so we had to play how much to accentuate them as human eyes and how much to push them towards wolf eyes. The eyelid shape around them is definitely wolf. For the eyeball itself we tended to play a little bit dark so they wouldn’t stick out as these funny white eyeballs in the head of the wolf.” Wolf eyes are iconic and easily recognizable. They have a very distinct eye shape and mysterious expression. “As soon as we put the human eyes in that it destroyed that iconic wolf look, so we tended to play it as subtle as possible to keep from distracting from the wolf.”
